Marise Rose is a ceramicist who is particularly interested in organic shapes, texture and colour inspired by nature and landscape. She enjoys experimenting with techniques such as wax resist, scraffito, and painting with underglaze, slips and oxides to create unique pieces.
Her work is a mixture of slab built and thrown pots including functional items such as vases, jugs, lidded jars, platters and bowls.
