Min Maude is a mixed media painter of landscapes, both real and imaginary. She uses paint, colour and collage to create multi layered images in an abstracted style. She doesn’t have a fixed idea of what the finished painting will look like when starting a piece, so the painting grows organically. Removing and adding layers until she is happy with the image, often creates interesting and unexpected results.
Min creates large scale canvas paintings, but also has smaller sized framed paintings available in the gallery.
